Dr. Jason Park founded Elevate Performance Therapy in 2019. Prior to 2019, Jason worked for a big company, where he fell in love with treating athletes and active adults who were looking to improve their health & performance for sports and activities.
After years of feeling like the healthcare system was really failing to give quality services, Jason wanted to bring a more personalized form of care with undivided attention to his patients. The idea of wait times and juggling multiple patients in the same hour was not what Jason wanted for his patients.
In 2019, the company started as a mobile service in order to help busy, active families in the comforts of their homes as well as athletes and active adults inside of gym spaces. With a portable treatment table in hand, physical therapy and performance training was no longer limited to the walls of a medical space.
When the first client sent a referral, the company started to slowly grow through word of mouth referrals. In addition, it's always been important to serve the local community and get involved. Jason has made it a point to get out in the community and help with workshops in order to keep people healthy and working out pain free.
As word of mouth referrals came in, so did partnerships and collaborations with other professionals in the health & fitness space. Eventually, word of mouth referrals expanded to serving athletes, dancers, and active adults. Even getting to see clients in their normal environment of performance has been a special part of Elevate Performance Therapy's growth.
Ultimately, Jason wanted to build and establish a community and landed an opportunity to partner with a new boutique, personal training gym called Fenix in Englewood. At the end of February of 2020, Jason decided to open up a home base via a treatment room inside of Fenix Englewood. Just when there was a lot of momentum and growth, COVID-19 put a halt to the business for a couple of months. There were many uncertainties and mandates which limited access for patient care. However it also led Elevate Performance Therapy to adapt and continue to serve the community through virtual sessions as well as the normal one on one care. Since 2019, whether it's been in home or in the clinic, despite the good or bad times, we have been consistently keeping Englewood healthy and happy.
